- Selection is entirely merit‑based; no written examination.
- Total score: 100 marks comprising:
- Qualifying Examination Marks – 75
- Weightage for Years Since Passing – up to 10 (1 mark per year)
- Contract Service Weightage – up to 15
- Contract Service Weightage breakdown:
- COVID‑19 Duties – 5.0 marks per 6 months (0.83 per completed month)
- Tribal Area Service – 2.5 marks per 6 months
- Rural Area Service – 2.0 marks per 6 months
- Urban Area Service – 1.0 mark per 6 months
- Merit list validity: one year or until a fresh notification is issued.
