- General Studies: Current Affairs (National & International), Indian Constitution & Polity, Indian Economy & Planning, Geography (India & World, with focus on Andhra Pradesh), History of India & Andhra Pradesh, Environmental Issues & Disaster Management, Science & Technology Developments.
- Mental Ability: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Data Interpretation, Number Series & Sequences, Coding-Decoding, Problem Solving.
Section 2: Home Science / Social Work / Sociology
- Child Development: Growth & Development of Children (Stages & Principles), Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), Child Psychology, Behaviour & Learning Processes, Family & Child Welfare.
- Nutrition: Balanced Diet & Nutritional Requirements (especially for Women & Children), Malnutrition, Deficiency Diseases & Public Health Nutrition, Food Science, Preservation & Dietetics, Problems in Improving Nutritional Status of Community.
- Home Science / Social Work: Family Resource Management & Health & Hygiene, Community Development & Social Welfare Programs, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Government Schemes for Women & Children, Women Empowerment & Family Welfare, Concept of Social Work (Historical Review), Fields & Methods of Social Work, Poverty, Unemployment & Social Control, Social Welfare Programs, ICDS & Related Initiatives, State & National Programs for Empowerment & Development.
