Selection Process
- Merit-based selection through NAPS/NATS Portal database

- 30% weightage to 10th class marks
- 70% weightage to ITI marks in concerned trade

Tie-breaking Rules
- If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference
- If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first
Preference in Selection
- 25% of total available seats for each trade will be reserved for candidates possessing a Residency Certificate of the districts where the Project/Power Station/Unit is located (Mandi & Bilaspur, HP)
- If reserved seats are still unfilled, they will first be offered to candidates with a Residency Certificate of the State where the Project/Power Station is located
- If seats still remain, they will be filled through open merit
