Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process is based on a combination of academic merit, professional experience, and a qualifying examination.
Shortlisting Criteria
Candidates are shortlisted for screening based on the number of vacancies:
- 1 to 10 Vacancies: 10 times the total vacancies.
- 11 to 50 Vacancies: 5 times the total vacancies.
- 50+ Vacancies: 3 times the total vacancies.
Merit Calculation
The final merit list is prepared using the following weightage:
- Educational Qualification: 65% of aggregate marks (60% for ANM/GNM). For Class-IV and Support Staff, this weightage is 85%.
- Experience Marks: Maximum 10 to 20 marks depending on the candidate's background (General vs NHM employees).
- Written/Skill Exam: 20 marks.
- COVID-19 Bonus: 10 marks for temporary health workers who served 6 months during the pandemic (Class III & IV).
Qualifying Marks
- General Candidates: 30% minimum marks in the written/skill exam.
- SC/ST/OBC Candidates: 20% minimum marks in the written/skill exam.
