The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the Maharashtra M.Tech / M.E. CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026. Candidates who participated in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) can now log in to the official portal to check their allotment status.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in CAP Round 1 must complete the online seat acceptance process and report to their respective institutes within the given deadline.

Steps to Check CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

1. Visit the official Maharashtra State CET Cell portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the M.Tech / M.E. Portal link.
3. Select the link for CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026.
4. Enter your Application ID and Password / Date of Birth.
5. Submit the credentials to view your provisional allotment status.
6. Download and save the allotment letter for admission reporting.

Admission Process After Round 1 Seat Allotment

• Freeze Option: If you are satisfied with the allotted college and branch, select 'Freeze', pay the seat acceptance fee, and proceed for institute reporting.
• Not Freeze / Betterment: If you wish to seek a better option in CAP Round 2, choose 'Not Freeze' and pay the required fee to hold the seat.
• Institute Reporting: Candidates freezing their seats must physically report to the allotted institute along with original certificates for document verification.
