The Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards, Meghalaya has released an official notification inviting applications for the enrollment of 108 Part-Time Naik and Lance Naik (Volunteer) positions in the Meghalaya Border Wing Home Guards Battalion.

The selection process for the Meghalaya Border Wing Home Guards (BWHG) comprises the following stages:

• Application Scrutiny: Verification of submitted documents and service credentials.
• Personal Interview: Conducted at Tura and Shillong centers for shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply Offline

1. Obtain the Prescribed Standard Form from the official website or designated District Home Guards/Civil Defence offices.
2. Fill in the application form accurately with all required personal and service details.
3. Attach self-attested copies of the following Required Documents:
   • Two recent passport-size photographs.
   • Educational qualification certificates.
   • Birth/Age proof certificate.
   • Meghalaya EPIC card.
   • Home Guards Basic Training Certificate.
   • Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized practitioner.
   • Deployment Period Certificate (in prescribed format).
4. Submit the completed application form to the respective District Home Guards Office or District Training Centre where you are currently deployed.
