Who Cannot Apply
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU, or Private organization.
- Candidates holding a post-graduate qualification.
Note: Vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease based on office exigencies. Reservation is applied as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
Selection / Admission Process
Selection is purely merit-based with no written examination.

Important: The offer of apprenticeship does not confer any right of employment at NFC. There is no provision for appointment after completion of training.
How to Apply / Register
- Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal — nats.education.gov.in
- Register / Apply for Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad using NATS Establishment Code STLHDC000003
- Fill in all required personal, educational, and category details
- Mention SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) reservation at the time of registration itself — failing which you will be considered under General category
- Upload all required documents/certificates on the portal
- Submit the application on or before 16 September 2026
- Take a printout of the submitted online application form
- Keep your registered e-mail active and check it periodically for shortlisting and interview communication

Documents Required (Physical Verification at Joining)
- 10th / SSC or Intermediate Board exam mark sheet & certificate
- Diploma / Degree mark sheet and certificate
- Caste certificate & Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Medical / Health Insurance certificate from a reputed institution
- Aadhaar card
- Police Verification certificate from the Superintendent / Commissioner of Police of the respective district
- Savings Bank account number and passbook
- Hard copy of the online application form
- Photocopies of all above documents
- 3 recent passport-size photographs
Start the Police Verification certificate process immediately — there is no specified format, and it is required on the date of reporting for joining. Selected candidates must also submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from an Assistant Civil Surgeon / Civil Surgeon.
Important Conditions
- Selected candidates must report at NFC, Hyderabad and execute a one-year training contract under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
- Accommodation is provided subject to availability of quarters; otherwise, candidates must arrange their own.
- No TA/DA is admissible for joining.
- If the apprenticeship contract is terminated due to failure on the part of the apprentice to fulfil its terms, the apprentice must refund the cost of training to NFC and will not be entitled to enter into another apprenticeship contract under the Act.
- Suppression of facts or deviation from desired qualification during credential verification leads to summary rejection.
- Character and antecedents of selected candidates will be verified.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up to influence the selection process leads to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of NFC Management is final.
