  • Calculus: Limits, continuity, differentiation (tangents, normals, maxima/minima), Rolle’s/Mean Value Theorems, integration (by parts/substitution/partial fractions), definite integrals, area under curves, and odd/even/periodic functions.
  • Trigonometry: Identities, inverse functions, properties/solution of triangles, heights/distances, equations, and general solutions.

2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning

This section evaluates the candidate's problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Verbal & Non-verbal Reasoning: Deductive and inductive reasoning, blood relations, direction sense, coding-decoding, seating arrangements, puzzles, input-output, syllogisms, alphanumeric series, and mirror images.
  • Critical Thinking: Statements and conclusions/arguments, data sufficiency, data interpretation and visualization, numerical reasoning, and general problem-solving.

3. Computer Awareness

This section tests basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and data representation.

  • Computer Basics: Organization, CPU, instruction structure, input/output devices (keyboard, mouse, scanner, monitor, printer), memory (RAM, ROM, cache), and backup/storage devices (HDD, SSD, USB).
  • Data Representation: Binary and hexadecimal systems, character/integer/fraction representation, binary arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), two’s complement, floating-point, and Boolean algebra.
  • Hardware & Software: Operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), system and application software, utility programs, and device drivers.
  • Internet & Email: Web browsing, email handling, and basic online security and threats.

4. General English

This section focuses on the candidate's ability to communicate and comprehend the English language.

  • Reading Comprehension: Understanding and analyzing passages.
