The syllabus is categorized into two main segments: General Aptitude and Post-Specific Technical subjects.
Part A: General Aptitude
- Reasoning: Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, series, Venn diagrams, and figural classification.
- General Knowledge: Current events (last 6-12 months), Indian history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy, and scientific research related to India and neighboring countries.
- Mathematics Aptitude: Number systems, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, mensuration, trigonometry, geometry, and data interpretation (graphs, histograms, pie charts).
- General English: Spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, comprehension, active/passive voice, and direct/indirect narration.
Part B: Technical/Professional Subject
This section includes core topics based on the specific post applied for:
- Junior Engineer: Electrical/Telecom Engineering principles.
- Technician/Technical Officer: Radiology, Radiotherapy, Perfusion Technology, or Dialysis principles as applicable.
- Medical Lab Technologist: Laboratory techniques, pathology, and biochemistry.
- Pharmacist: Pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical chemistry.
- Others: Relevant subjects based on the post-specific educational requirements.
