TN TET Answer Key 2026

The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu has released the provisional answer key for the TN TET (Special TET) 2026 on July 15 2026. Candidates who appeared for Paper I on July 4 2026 and Paper II on July 5 2026 can now download the answer key and their individual response sheets from the official TRB website.

Short Information

The TN TET exam was conducted on July 4 and 5 2026. The provisional answer key was made available on July 15 2026, and the objection window remains open until July 22 2026. The key is labeled as “Provisional / Tentative” and should be used only for score estimation before the final key is released.

How to Check & Download Answer Key

  1. Visit the official TRB portal – Open the website trb.tn.gov.in in your browser.
  2. Locate the notification – On the homepage, click the link titled “TNTET 2026 Tentative Answer Key / Objection Tracker”.
  3. Log in with your credentials – Enter your User ID (Application ID/Register Number) and password that you used during the application process.
  4. Accept the terms – Read the on‑screen terms, tick the acceptance box, and click Accept to proceed.
  5. Access the answer key – Choose “View Master Question Paper with Tentative Answer Key”. Two separate PDFs will be displayed – one for Paper I (Classes 1‑5) and another for Paper II (Classes 6‑8).
  6. Download and save – Click the download icon for each PDF, store them on your device, and compare the answers with your recorded responses. Keep a copy for future reference.

How to Raise Objections

TRB allows candidates to raise objections only through the online Objection Tracker. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Objection Tracker – The same notification used for the answer key contains a link to the Objection Tracker. Click it within the objection window (July 15 to July 22 2026).
  2. Enter required details – Provide the exact question number, the answer you believe is incorrect, and the correct answer as per the standard textbook. Only authoritative textbooks are accepted as proof; coaching material, private notes, or website references are not valid.
  3. Upload supporting documents – Attach scanned copies of the relevant textbook pages that justify your claim.
  4. Submit the objection – Review the entered information for accuracy and click Submit. After submission, TRB will review the objection and communicate the final decision. No other modes of objection (email, post, courier) are accepted.
