Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark for each incorrect/multiple answer (Negative Marking). Difficulty Distribution: 50% Average, 30% Difficult, 20% Most Difficult. Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates must indicate college-wise preference (Adhikarita) as per Annexure-4 at the time of interview. The preference order is binding. No TA/DA is admissible for written exam or interview.

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the Official Website of UPESSC.
  2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) – mandatory before filling the application form.
  3. Refer to the Hindi/English User Manual and Tutorial Videos available on the portal for guidance.
  4. Log in and fill the OTR-based online application form for the Principal post. The form must be filled in English (API proforma may use Roman script).
  5. Upload scanned Signature (White background, JPG/JPEG, 10–200 KB, 140x110 px) and Photograph (JPG/JPEG, 30–300 KB, 300–600 px).
