Selection / Admission / Evaluation Process

The selection process is governed by UPPSC Direct Recruitment Regulations.

• Screening Examination (Objective OMR-Based): Conducted if required to shortlist candidates for interview. Carries 75% weightage in final merit. Features negative marking of 0.33 marks for wrong answers. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for SC/ST and 40% for other categories.
• Interview: Carries 25% weightage in overall evaluation.
• Document Verification: Verification of original academic certificates, teaching experience, and category certificates prior to final recommendation.

How to Apply / Register / Check Status

1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official OTR portal at least 72 hours prior to application submission.
2. Visit the UPPSC official portal and navigate to "ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS".
3. Authenticate using your OTR number via OTP or OTR password.
4. Verify auto-populated personal details and select preferential qualifications on the dashboard.
5. Pay the required application fee online via SBI MOPS and save the payment transaction receipt.
6. Submit the completed online application form and take a printout.
