The West Bengal Police (WBP) recruitment drive aims to appoint qualified candidates to the post of Sub-Inspector (SI). While the total vacancy count for 2026 is currently to be announced, the selection process remains rigorous, consisting of a Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination (Mains), and a Personality Test.
Exam Pattern
Candidates must clear the Preliminary examination to qualify for the subsequent rounds. The Prelims exam is an objective type (MCQ) OMR-based test conducted offline.
