Local Candidate (Domicile) Requirement
Candidates must be local to the erstwhile district of the DCCB they are applying to. Local status is determined by:
- Studying in an educational institution in the local area for at least 4 consecutive academic years up to SSC (or equivalent); OR
- Residing in the local area for at least 4 years immediately preceding the SSC (or equivalent) examination.
- A 7-year study/residence criterion within the state may also apply as per the respective notification.
