Selection / Admission / Evaluation Process

  • Screening / Written Test — The Commission will decide the mode of selection considering the status, cadre, and grade of the post, and the number of applications received.
  • Personal Interview / Viva-Voce — Candidates must attend a personal interview/Viva-Voce at a place fixed by the Commission if required. The Commission does not defray travelling or other expenses of candidates summoned for interview.
  • Zone-wise Examination — The Commission may conduct the examination/test zone-wise depending on the number of candidates from each district, based on six zones: Silchar, Jorhat, Nagaon, Tezpur, Kokrajhar, and Guwahati.
  • Document Verification — Original documents with self-attested copies must be produced at the time of interview.
  • Provisional Admission — Admission at all stages of selection is purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions; candidature may be cancelled at any stage if found ineligible.

  2. New applicants must click on 'Register Here' and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process with basic details, using a valid and active email address and mobile number.
  3. After registration, log in using the registered email/mobile number and password.
  4. Fill in all required registration details as asked in the form; mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
  5. Read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
  6. Upload required documents/certificates (Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, caste/category, etc.) in PDF format, not exceeding 4 MB, legible in print, scanned at 200 dpi in greyscale (recommended).
  7. Upload a recent Photograph (50 KB – 200 KB) and Signature (50 KB – 200 KB).
  8. Tick the declaration checkbox to enable the Preview option, and check all uploaded documents for clarity.
  9. Click 'Proceed to Pay' to continue, or 'Cancel' to make corrections.
  10. Complete the payment of the prescribed application fee.
  11. Note that no editing of the application is allowed after final submission.
  12. Take a printout of the submitted Online Application Form for future reference.

Required Documents Checklist

  • Permanent Resident Certificate (Assam) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as domicile proof
  • Degree mark sheets/grade sheets of each semester/year and final pass certificate in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
  • Class-X/Class-XII Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet showing Date of Birth, for age proof
  • Certificates and mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the qualifying examination
