Reservation Policy
- 15% posts for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 27% for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10% for EWS, and 4% for PwBD on horizontal basis.
- No reservation for Ex-servicemen in Group 'A' & 'B' posts.
- Valid category certificates must be issued on or before 05.10.2026.
- OBC candidates must hold a certificate from the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi; a Non-Creamy Layer certificate for FY 2026-27 is also required.
- EWS reservation requires an Income and Asset Certificate valid as on the last date of application submission.
Selection / Admission / Evaluation Process
Both posts follow a four-stage selection process:

Stage I – English Typing Test (Qualifying)
- 10 minutes; minimum speed 40 w.p.m.; permissible mistakes 3% of total words typed.

Stage II – English Shorthand Test
- SPA: 110 w.p.m.; 550-word passage dictated in 5 minutes; 45 minutes transcription; 120 marks; permissible mistakes 5% (27.5).
- PA: 100 w.p.m.; 500-word passage dictated in 5 minutes; 45 minutes transcription; 110 marks; permissible mistakes 5% (25).
- 4 marks deducted per full mistake, 2 marks per half mistake; best of two attempts considered.

Stage III – Main (Descriptive) Examination
- 100 marks; 120 minutes; Essay (250 words, 40 marks), Letter Writing (15 marks), Grammar & Comprehension (25 marks), Translation Hindi-English & English-Hindi (10+10 marks).
- Passing marks: 50% for General (SPA), 45% for Reserved/PwBD categories.

- 15 marks; no minimum qualifying marks.
Key Selection Rules
- Final merit list is prepared by combining marks from Stage II, III, and IV; Stage I is qualifying only.
- Ties resolved in order: Stage II marks → Stage III marks → Stage IV marks → date of birth (older candidate preferred).
- No exemption from any stage for PwBD candidates; no scribe or compensatory time provided.
- Medium of examination is English language only.
