Sports Achievement Norms

For Level-3/2 Posts (21 vacancies): Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following:

• Represented the country in any Category-B championship/event
• Secured at least 3rd position in any Category-C championship/event
• Secured at least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships
• Secured at least 3rd position in National Games (Indian Olympic Association)
• Secured at least 3rd position in All India Inter-University Championships (Association of Indian Universities)
• Secured 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)

For Level-1 Posts (35 vacancies): Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following:

• Represented the country in any Category-C championship/event
• Secured at least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
• Represented a state or equivalent unit (except marathon/cross country, where at least 8th position in Senior National Championships is required)

International Championship Categories

Note: In Boxing, achievements of players in the "Youth" category on or after 25.09.2016 in International Championships will be considered in place of the "Junior" category.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
